What is the Brace Class?

A Brace team at a dog show is to move as one unit…like synchronized swimming, two individuals mirror each other.

Below you will see Ivy and Ilsa moving as one dog. Look closely and you will see their two tails only. The legs on both dogs are synchronized.

Morris-Essex Kennel Club Show

On 7 October three good friends (Linda Dobbie, Georgia Sabean & Michelle Root) participated in the Morris & Essex Dog Show in New Jersey. The show is held on the Dodge Estate every five years. It was quite a dog show in the 1930’s and 40’s and was begun by Mrs Dodge who was an avid dog fancier. So today, in keeping with 30’s & 40’s era, everyone dresses up to reflect that era and hats are a must! It was great fun to see all the fabulous outfits and hats!! Ch. Centara Valkyria (pictured to the left) was awarded a Select ribbon toward her Grand Championship.
